August Release Notes 2019

It's a new month, which means we have another roundup of release notes for you! From a redesigned client wallet, to a new invoices page, this past month we've been full steam ahead with adding new features.

Check out all of these ready-to-use account features below!

What we’re most excited about:

Redesigned Client Wallet + New Payment Method Settings

While AdvicePay is designed to support both ACH and credit/debit cards for convenient client payments, we now give you the option to limit the type of payments you'll accept on an account-wide level (rather than on simply a per invoice level)!

By managing your accepted payment methods across all clients, you not only limit every client to paying with a certain type of account, but you also limit what options they see in their Wallet (where their payment methods are stored).  You'll want to take advantage of this setting if, for example, you only accept ACH -- checking account -- payments and therefore don't want clients to ever see a credit card “slot” in their Wallet.

Along with this update, we took the opportunity to spiff up the client’s Wallet page so that it’s cleaner and more user-friendly than ever! Subscription clients can change their default payment method faster (handy when an expired card or closed bank account needs to be updated), and all clients will find navigating the Wallet a breeze on mobile. New Invoices Page (With Filtering and Exporting)!

By popular request, the Invoices page now contains a combined view of both one-time and individual subscription invoices. You can use this page to easily find and manage things like:

  • All failed invoices
  • Past due subscription invoices
  • Payments that have completed transferring to your bank account within the last quarter
  • Paid invoices with a specific Description of Service
  • Refunded invoices for specific clients
  • Invoices created by an advisor during a specific time period
  • And more!

Plus, by using the brand new Filter function you can restrict your view to a variety of specific scenarios, then export the invoices into an Excel report or as PDFs.

We also added filtering to the Subscriptions page so that you can sort by Status, Client, Next Bill Date, Amount, and more!
