AdvicePay, the industry-leading platform for managing billing, payments, and compliance of fee-for-service financial planning, announced today that it has been named a finalist in four categories for the 2026 Wealth Management Industry Awards (the “Wealthies”). The nominations include, for technology providers, Chief Marketing Officer of the Year for Shannon Beck, Chief Technology Officer of the Year for Juniper Emnett, Compliance for its Compliance Guardrails, and Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year for AdvicePay’s Fee-for-Service Trends Campaign.

The finalist nominations recognize AdvicePay’s work to help RIAs and broker-dealers run fee-for-service programs with clear workflows, firm-level oversight, and documentation that supports supervision and audit readiness.

AdvicePay is also marking two company milestones this year: its 10th anniversary, and one year since acquiring AdvisorBOB, an advisor compensation software platform that supports complex payout structures and helps replace spreadsheet-based processes.

“We’re honored to be recognized as a finalist in four Wealthies categories,” said AdvicePay President Kelsey Lewis. “Over the past 10 years, our focus has stayed the same: help RIAs and broker-dealers run fee-for-service planning in a way that is operationally sound and easy to supervise. I'm proud of what the team has built, and especially of Shannon and Juniper for the leadership they've brought to our customers and our company.”

Marketing and campaign performance recognized
Over the past year, AdvicePay’s marketing team, led by Beck, has delivered several major initiatives, including the launch of AdvicePay’s Fourth Annual Trend Report and the rollout of updated corporate branding.

As part of the integrated campaign supporting the Trend Report, AdvicePay influenced 20,000 contacts, saw a 63% conversion rate, and drove more than 1,100 new visitors to the AdvicePay website.

“I’m grateful for this recognition, and even more grateful for the team behind the work,” Beck said. “Our job is to help firms understand what’s changing in fee-for-service planning and to make the path forward feel practical. This nomination is a validating moment for the whole team.”

Product and engineering innovation recognized
AdvicePay’s compliance guardrails nomination recognizes tools that help firms supervise fee-for-service billing with clearer controls and documentation. In plain language, that includes creating an audit trail of agreements, invoices, and payments, supporting approval workflows where firms need them, and reducing risk by keeping advisors from handling or viewing a client’s payment credentials.

As Head of Product Development, Emnett led a transformative product and engineering evolution, modernized the software development lifecycle, and led the complex technical due diligence and ongoing transition following AdvicePay’s acquisition of  AdvisorBOB, among other initiatives.

“It’s an honor to be nominated alongside so many strong technology leaders,” Emnett said. “We’ve been focused on building systems that are reliable at scale, and making sure the work we ship is measurable and useful for the firms that depend on us.”

Now in its 12th year, the Wealth Management Industry Awards — widely known as the “Wealthies” — spotlights the companies and leaders shaping the future of financial advice, wealthtech, investment solutions, and advisor growth.

A panel of judges made up of top names in the industry, led by Wealth Management director of editorial strategy and operations David Armstrong, chose the finalists and will determine the winners. Winners will be announced at a gala and awards ceremony in New York City on September 10.

“The scale and quality of this year’s nominations reflect an industry that continues to evolve at an extraordinary pace,” said David Armstrong, Managing Director of Editorial and Content Strategies for the Wealth Management Group at Informa. “What stood out to our judges was not just product innovation, but the growing sophistication around how firms are helping advisors operate, communicate, personalize advice and build sustainable businesses. The finalists represent a broad cross-section of organizations pushing the industry forward in meaningful ways.”
