Are disjointed workflows and manual data entry slowing down your firm’s growth? Imagine eliminating tedious tasks, improving data accuracy, and creating a seamless experience for your entire team – home office, advisors, and clients alike.

AdvicePay’s API makes this a reality. Integrate our secure API with your existing systems and unlock a new level of efficiency within your firm. Here’s how our API empowers broker-dealers and large RIAs to focus on revenue-generating activities, not busywork.

*Note: API access is only available on the Enterprise plan

Streamline User Management: Create, Read, Update, and Delete Users in AdvicePay

Forget manual data entry! With the AdvicePay API, you can create, read, update, and delete users directly within your system. When an advisor is created or updated in your system, you can make calls to the AdvicePay API to update the corresponding record in AdvicePay. You can also update email addresses, SSO IDs, and more. To see all of the attributes for the advisor object, click here.

Effortless Invoice Management

The Invoices object on AdvicePay has a wealth of data that comes with it – you can view all of the attributes available on the invoice here. Here are some common use cases:

  • Pull invoice data directly into your system, including overdue invoices, recently paid invoices, and upcoming payments.
  • Integrate invoice information into your central CRM, giving advisors and clients immediate access to their invoices.
  • Identify overdue payments, recently paid invoices, and a list of invoices paid for a specific date range.
  • Download invoices directly into your preferred internal storage solution, ensuring they are accessible according to your firm’s specific needs.

Enhanced eSign Workflows

Track the progress of signed agreements directly within your system. The API integrates with AdvicePay’s eSign functionality, allowing you to retrieve information like:

  • A list of recently ‘Completed’ Agreements
  • A list of Agreements that were sent in a specific month
  • A list of Agreements specific to an advisor or client
  • A specific Agreement on an Invoice

Gain Deeper Insights with Transfers

Get a clear picture of your financial planning operations and make data-driven decisions for future growth. With the API, you can access detailed transfer and transaction data, including payment types and invoice details.

AdvicePay offers both a Transfer object and a Transaction object. One example of how to use this is to get a list of transfers that arrived on a certain date, and then you can view all of the individual transactions that occurred. A transaction is a robust object that includes a lot of attributes including things like:

  • Payment Type (ACH or CC)
  • Gross Amount
  • Paid Date
  • Invoice ID
  • Invoice Type (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, or Single Payment)
  • And many more are found here

Save Time with Deep Linking

Eliminate the need to navigate through multiple menus, saving everyone time and frustration. Deep linking allows you to create links within your system that take users directly to specific pages within AdvicePay, such as a client profile or a payment request flow. Deep linking is supported on any page within AdvicePay simply by setting the RelayState to /desired page.

Focus on What Matters Most:

The AdvicePay API offers a powerful suite of tools specifically designed to streamline your financial planning operations and empower your entire team. By automating tasks, improving data accuracy, and creating a seamless user experience, the API frees up valuable time for your team to focus on more important tasks.
