2018 Highlights

AdvicePay evolved a lot last year! In 2018, we launched our eSignature integration, increased our billing frequency options, and made major feature updates to our platform. Want to know the cool part? Many of these changes came from your suggestions and ideas!

Top Enhancements

1. Downloadable transfers and transactions reports.
No more contacting us for a file of your data. Now, you can pull reports for yourself whenever you need them and download your data into a convenient Excel file. Here's how to download your report.

 2. Dashboard Improvements.
Your Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your data and recent activity on AdvicePay. We've also included projections, so you know what to expect for the rest of the month or next month! Stay in the know. Get a quick overview.

3. More control of client email.
Sending out confirmations easily is part of the beauty of AdvicePay. This year we gave you even more options for who, when, and how to manage your client communication automated in AdvicePay. How to manage emails.

4. Billing frequency options.
AdvicePay now supports monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual billing. Bonus: you can also customize your invoice more than ever with new personalization capabilities for Professional and Enterprise subscriptions. Check out invoice options.

5. eSignature Integration.
This little gem came online in November and has been changing lives ever since. An upgrade for Professional and Enterprise users, eSignature integration allows you to manage client agreements, payment agreements, billing and payments, easily and all in AdvicePay. More on eSignature.

Already, we are off to great start in 2019.

One month into the year and AdvicePay has already processed more than $1,000,000 in transactions. Plus, we've already launched our new website, and made even MORE updates to our platform, including:

+ AdvicePay accepts AMEX! Available in the payment option dropdown.

+ Improved & easier to use subscription and invoice screens

+ More options for custom billing and payment settings

When life hands you limes, make margaritas. Alan’s entrepreneur journey began in 2012 after he was fired from his job as a financial planner and decided to start his own business. With his undergrad and M.S. in Family Financial Planning, Alan quickly put his business-building smarts and experience to work in helping other advisors start, run, and grow their own financial planning firms to serve NexGen clients. In 2016, he launched AdvicePay with partner Michael Kitces to operationalize the fee-for-service business model with technology that makes sense for the specific needs of financial planners. When he’s not starting companies, Alan lives openly as a self-proclaimed CrossFit junkie and dedicated snowboarder, a skill he is already passing along to his four-year-old son.
